Write for us

We welcome considered pitches about the choices, methods and materials that shape training and adult learning. Send proposals through the Contact page rather than submitting a full draft without an invitation.

What we welcome

A strong proposal has a clear, bounded subject and gives readers a way to understand or consider it. We are interested in explainers, comparisons, background pieces, reflective essays and grounded approaches to planning or practice. The subject should suit a general readership and remain useful beyond a passing trend.

Make the pitch specific

Tell us the working title, the central idea, who the piece is for and what makes the subject worth a reader's attention. A short outline of the main points is helpful. Mention relevant experience accurately, but do not assume that credentials alone make a proposal suitable.

A careful, original contribution

Proposals should be original, clearly written and free of unsupported claims. Do not include confidential details about learners, workplaces or clients. We may discuss scope and edits before accepting a piece; sending a proposal does not guarantee publication.

Our point of view

Learning grows through attention and practice.

A well-shaped session is a beginning, not a promise. We look at the choices that give people room to understand, try and reflect.
